Anne’s Allergy Drop Experience

I first told the doctor about my allergies to pretty much everything from dust mites, cats, dogs, a number of trees, grass, mold, and ragweed. I was suffering from a constantly running nose, sneezing, itchy eyes, and sometimes headaches.

The doctor asked if I had considered immunotherapy. I was not interested in coming into his office for allergy shots — it was too inconvenient for my schedule. But, my allergies were getting worse into adulthood. He suggested a form of immunotherapy he was offering — sublingual immunotherapy — which involved drops under the tongue.

I have found this treatment to be very convenient and a very easy way to get rid of my allergies. Within the first year of taking the drops, I was feeling so much better. Now, I don’t need to take any other symptom relieving medications. I have found the allergy drops have been well worth both my time and the cost.
