Is your allergy practice ready to meet the growing demand?
Today, less than five percent of the 50 to 60 million U.S. allergy sufferers receive the benefit of immunotherapy. Even the busiest allergy practices report that less than 25 percent of allergic patients will agree to undergo injection immunotherapy. The safety and convenience of sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) truly expands the range of candidates for immunotherapy and thus expands your allergy practice. Sublingual immunotherapy is changing the way allergy is practiced and you have the opportunity to be at the forefront in delivering this treatment option to your patients.
Expand your practice through the science and art of sublingual immunotherapy
Allergychoices can help you incorporate sublingual immunotherapy into your practice - effectively and efficiently - through services that help deliver results to your practice and your patients without increasing your overhead. The end result is having new treatment options for your allergy patients ... and more opportunity for your practice.
Clinical Expertise - The La Crosse Method™
Providing the broad range of allergy patients with treatment options that meet their individual needs is the basis for the La Crosse Method Practice Protocol, developed by the physician partners of Allergy Associates of La Crosse. The protocol brings more than 40 years of clinical experience blending European and U.S. traditions in sublingual immunotherapy treatment with the latest research.
The La Crosse Method put patient safety and comfort first, successfully treating more than 135,000 patients for Multiple Inhalants, Foods and Preseasonal Treatment—a unique strategy for patients with known seasonal allergies such as trees, grasses, ragweed and dust mites.
The exceptional benefits of the protocol are found in treating those who traditionally are not candidates for injection therapy including infants and children, severe asthmatics, the highly sensitive, chronic conditions including sinusitis, food and mold allergies and patients with multiple allergies.
Practice Integration - Developing a workflow that works
How can you make sure the principles of the La Crosse Method are accepted and implemented effectively in your practice? Our staff has unique expertise in helping build a SLIT practice from the ground up and can help you navigate the implementation issues from staff training and education, business and payer issues, operational considerations including testing and workflow, and a range of communications strategies that help insure staff confidence and expertise.
We work as an extension of your practice, bringing expertise in critical areas that shorten your implementation time and help ensure your staff can focus time on important patient issues. We can work with you to develop customized testing and treatment panels based on your region and patient needs. As you begin identifying and treating patients, you have a direct link to clinical staff, physicians and pharmacists whose expertise day in and day out is focused on providing safe, effective and customized solutions for allergy sufferers.
